Financial Systems Consultant
PPL’s Controller’s Team seeks a financial systems and management reporting consultant. PPL’s general ledger software system is MAS 200, and subledger accounting information is provided through the Voyager 6.0 application for property management, numerous spreadsheets for the Property Development function, and Raiser’s Edge for individual, corporate and foundation contributions. PPL activities are organized in distinct operating divisions: affordable housing, education, employment training and human services. Each division has unique financial reporting requirements. As a housing developer we’ve entered into over 21 limited partnerships owning various percentages of rental unit properties; each is a separate legal entity included as part of PPL’s consolidated reporting structure. The financial accounting and management reporting process evolved over the past 20 years without a major assessment of procedures and structure, resulting in a system with many limitations in its ability to support PPL’s current needs.
We seek a pro bono consultant to assess our current financial and management reporting systems and identify alternatives to make systems more efficient, flexible and effective.
